How it all began!!!!

I know what you're thinking, what happened to you? Here's it is!!

Having flat feet is no picnic, especially when your job involves a lot of walking, climbing ladders, carrying tools, etc, etc. With that being said, I had one foot that was driving me up the wall!!! You wanna talk about painful!!! This wee little doggy was ruffling my feathers. Sorry, I always wanted to say that. Walking and standing were very painful. I tried a bunch of shoes, so called arch supports, and I even had a couple of  CORTISONE SHOTS.

Let me speak on the shots for a moment. One, they hurt, because the needle is as long as a ruler, plus all that NEEDLE RULER, has to go in for the medicine to reach the affected area. Did I mention the size of the needle yet?  Lol!!!! My second visit was my most memorable!!!  I had to take my daughter with me, and at that time she was about 3 I believe. We're in the office and I get called up to get my  corty shot and boy am I ever pumped, NOT!!! The doctor pulls out his ruler and proceeds with the drilling, I mean injection,  and tries to push in the needle, but somethings WRONG!!  So he kept pushing and pulling for a few moments, and it finally dawned on him, somethings wrong. To myself I said well, was it my loud groans or the waterfall of sweat pouring down my face that gave it away? People, the doctor said, "that's funny, the needle has no hole, it's clogged. I guess I have to get another needle". Wow, are you serious? Who has ever had that happen before? Good times. By the way, that was my last corty shot.

That relief was short lived, but not the memory, and eventually the pain came back with a vengeance. So I had to get something done, and yes, I surely did. That decision changed our life forever!!!!

Hello...I'm The Parky Brawler

Hello, I’m Keith, and I am going to attempt to tell my story of being healthy one minute, and disabled by life altering changes the next.  The short story is I have early onset Parkinson's Disease, Fibromyalgia, and chronic foot pain.  What a journey it is for my family and I.  I wish I had an explanation for it all, but I don’t.
I call myself ParkyBrawler because it encourages me to see myself as a fighter.  NEVER GIVE UP!  Checkout the Facebook group that I am a member of #nevergiveup Parkinson's and Dystonia.
It will be a story of sadness and a lot of laughter!!! I say laughter because that’s my personality. I have a strong faith in Christ, and He keeps me grounded. My family is awesome, especially my wife who is helping me with blogging/vlogging. She is truly Heaven sent.
If you followed me on my WordPress blog, some of the postings may be a repeat for you, but I hope that they will be just as funny and encouraging the second time around.
Please bear with me as I try to keep a steady post. Thank you!!
